Janis Joplin - A última entrevista
No player acima, a última entrevista de Janis Joplin.
Em conversa com o jornalista Howard Smith, do The Village Voice, em 30 de setembro de 1970, a cantora revela toda sua vulnerabilidade emocional.
A gravação, feita quatro dias antes dela morrer por overdose de heroína no Landmark Motor Hotel em Hollywood, Califórnia, EUA, mostra uma mulher sensível ao falar de seus problemas de rejeição e do porque algumas mulheres se sentem mal-amadas ou intimidadas por conta de sua forte personalidade feminista no ambiente do rock.

Joni Sternbach nasceu no Bronx, Nova York.
Ela é formada na University Center / International New York de Fotografia e faz parte do corpo docente da Universidade de Nova York há mais de 20 anos.
As fotos extraordinárias desta galeria fazem parte do projeto Surfland, uma ideia em andamento que consiste na produção de retratos contemporâneos de surfistas, tanto atletas renomados quanto gente comum, usando um processo fotográfico que dá as imagens uma impressão de antiguidade, sendo as imagens feitas nos Estados Unidos e Austrália.
